Create a community of credit card holders who will improve their finances through education and collective action.
I sketched and helped release a limited version of the community website, used to gather feedback from a limited set of new cardholders. We did remote user testing on early designs with cardholders — would they be comfortable with the idea of a community around their credit card and finances? What about privacy? etc.
The feedback from the Alpha site and the user testing helped us define the features for the Beta version. I designed the wireframes for personal stats and other features and defined detailed business rules.
In an Agile development, I supported Lithium–the community platform we used for the site–and the EMC technology team fine-tuning specifications, creating test cases and doing QA.
